The dowdswell press is a world apart from your flexicoil it really takes a pull as it weighs over 1 1/2 tonnes and bites in to the soil, whereas your flexi is light and just rolls along the soil

Lol yes they all follow the curvature of the earth !....In practice when i hook up to the (very heavy) 'press', it pulls the plough over, therefore causing a curved furrow, not perfect, but my main concern is a level, firm seedbed which this 'press' gives me.
