  • I believe this man, but some of this does sound made up. For instance, he lost his entire platoon? I don't even know the last time there was a 100% casualty rate at the platoon level. It would have made news. Other than that, great story. By the way though, the war wasn't 10 times worse back then. 2010/2011 have been the 2 deadliest years in the Afghan War. August of this year was actually the deadliest month in the war.

  • My mom told me a story of how my dad woke up in the middle of the night hitting her. He was some kind of medic in Vietnam and suffered from PTSD.
