  • I have a question , i've got a weird HDD it makes sounds like a floppy just much much quieter , is it bad?

  • @paulicapopcorn It's normal to have a quiet clicking sound coming from your hard drive when the drive light is on. Anything else may indicate a hard drive that may be failing.

  • I have looked all over youtube for some help, anytime I go on my dell inspiron i always have the windows internet explorer-view downloads box pop up and i cannot run or save anything cause it wont allow me to. Any advice you can give me would help greatly. Thank you Sir.

  • @gonecustodial Try resetting IE. Go to the Control Panel, select Network and Internet options, then Internet Properties. Go to the last tab 'Advanced' and at the bottom of the form select 'Reset Internet Explorers settings'. This will reset IE back to it's default configuration.

  • @N1GH7SH4D3L0RD You may have a damaged partition or master file table. Remember, don't add, modify or delete anything on the drive until you scan it with one of the recovery programs.

  • @scottstgelais

I didn't deleted my files.. It says this ''124 Gig free, 140 gb total.. so.. It has the files in it but it does not shows them.. maybe I should use the stuff you said to me.. anyway thanks

  • @N1GH7SH4D3L0RD Sounds like you may have accidentally deleted your files. Do a search for Panda Recovery, TOKIWA DataRecovery or Undelete Plus. One of these should be able to recover your files.

  • I have an overly important question.. I had REALLY important files in ''D'' but when i click on it it says ''this folder it empty'' Please help

  • @scottstgelais it was excellent answer you already got my subscribe thanks!

  • @m3m3t11 I would choose Windows 7 over Vista. The development of Vista was kind of screwed up. Windows 7 is what Vista should have been. It's the video card you choose that will determine the gaming performance for your system. The more GPU's and memory, the better. And Windows 7 64-bit will run quite well on the Q8400 (I currently use one).
