Shall we see at last the revenge of the harpsichord ? After it had been forgotten, and even disregarded for two centuries odd, we now begin to find that :

1 it's not an instrument INFERIOR to the piano,

2 its beeing called an instrument of the past is no longer justified,

3 the harpsichord specific timbre arouses the creativity in matter of composition, arrangement, improvisation AND (even !) interpretation.

Va-t-on enfin voir la revanche du clavecin ? Après deux siècles d'oubli, voire de discrédit, on commence à s'apercevoir enfin que :

1° ce n'est pas un instrument INFERIEUR au piano,

2° la connotation d'instrument du passé n'est plus d'actualité,

3° le timbre spécifique du clavecin ouvre la porte à la créativité : composition, transposition ET (même !) interprétation.

Merci à tous ceux qui, comme le font ici Christopher et Katelyn avec brio, nous montrent les possibilités de cet instrument.
