"Walking through the streets of a little medieval town gives us a deep emotion, the silence and the light bring us to the past and we can feel the echo of history..." donni

Placed on a wonderful olives-hill (450 mt a.s.l.) Stroncone, in Umbria, Italy, is a typical medieval town. It was founded in the 10th century, during the socalled fortifications period (the place was first mentioned in the Chronicon Farfensis by Gregorio da Catino in 1012) and it still preserves it charming features: narrow and meandering little roads, beautiful stone-doorwaysand the old well just inside the city walls. In 2007 Stroncone was included in the list of "The most beautiful italian medieval town".
