On this clip Karim not only plays great but also gives a terrific explanation ( and playing example) of how to apply polyrhythms ( and poly-meters ) by using the same " 1 " of the bar as the starting point and then applying two time signatures ( in this case 7 and 4 ) to the same (one bar) amount of space. He does a good job of explaining this technigue, playing it and grooving back and forth with both time feels.
