  • @che667 Hello Dr Charbaji, well I get alloderm from Osteo Biotech Lebanon: Hazmieh Phone number: 009613443834 or 009613357768

  • I don't understand...why is he ripping open the gums on all 4 teeth, I thought only one of them had receded to a point that needed work. Can someone throw some light on this please? I am expecting some work to be done on one tooth, and this video has just scared the hell out of me.

  • @gshankaran : Hello, well this video is intended for the professionals in periodontal surgery. I didn't mean to scare you !

  • You want to know more about mucogingival surgery ? Take a look on this iPad application : iMuco gingival recession.

iMuco, it’s 15 videos describing mucogingival surgical techniques, video animations illustrating the design of the incisions to be made, clinical photos of very high quality before, during and after the intervention, and much more.

Look on youtube if you want to see a demo and type demo imuco

  • i was in dentist college , after this video i don't wont to continue :@

  • @gshankaran yes the gum on either side will also have to be worked on, as you can't graft new gum onto "nothing", the gum on either side will accept the graft and allow it to integrate

  • Oh my god I threw up how can they do that not in my mouth you dont

  • is it necessary to do a partial thickness flap after denuding papilae? what abaut the tunnel technique, is it partial thickness or full mucoperiosteal?

  • @rumbug I have a question on that - so if just one tooth has recession because of trauma, let's say not due to gingivitis or anything, does it mean that the neighboring teeth that have natural and healthy gums also need to be worked upon? And what about the tissue that is being placed - does the natural tissue grow over it, and eventually assimilate it into gums, or does it feel like there is some soft tissue, but no sensation whatsoever? Thanks,

  • @gshankaran He's done that so that a larger piece of Alloderm can be placed and retained, if you work on just one tooth it's much much harder to suture things in place. Also the "blend" would be better, that is the "new" gum shape will blend in better ... IMHO

  • thank you alot for ur help, would love to share my experience with alloderm with you.
