This is a simple demonstration of wireless electricity with a Lawn / Garden Glowingt Bar ( nexxtech 4217005 ) which is a high voltage plasma light stick. Nikola Tesla was experimenting in high frequency currents and invented the plasma lamp, an inert gas discharged tube and used it to study high voltage phenomena. Correction... the frequency of the plasma light stick is 40Khz....

  • hold a florescent light near the antenna of a high powered CB radio and see what happens

  • When I was in elementary school I used a fluorescent light as a signal injector to calibrate those old am transistor radios....a science project that i was working on.... which was a long time ago....

  • Correction...The frequency of the plasma light stick is 40Khz...not as I noted in the last part of the video, sorry about the discrepancy.

  • Just a note to my fellow experimenters: I bought my "Lawn/Garden Glowingt Bar, which are plamsa light sticks at "The Source" by Circuit City (here in Canada) for a clearance price of $2.96 plus tax....The original price was $39.95, what a great deal. I bought four for future experiments....Check it out for yourself, they might be some still around...

  • So all you need is a florescent light bar and some led lights and thats it???

  • Good video ! More Tesla Tech in videos "Tesla and cold electricity" by HorizonDelta

  • its inverse square law. No matter how far out you go, you get current but it is neglegible beyond a point.

  • What determines the distance before a current is induced for the leds?

  • Thanks for posting this, and keep it coming. So, maybe your multi-rod device with air core for neon? Will copper catch stray neon charge/capacitance also?
