I used to have this on a cassette that came free with the NME in the mid-nineties and it did sound like a real answer machine on the speaky part. The tape's long gone- great to hear the song again

I have been discovering some of the Pulp b-sides, and you are very helpfull posting this and others. It boggles the mind how much Pulp kept improving. It wasn't just Babies, but damn I love Babies!!!
