We are overwhelmed with the news regarding the passing of Don Cornelius. Our deepest sympathy and thoughts are with his family at this time. He was a true television visionary and his contributions to African American culture and music entertainment are immeasurable. Soul Train, made you proud to be black, not apologetic, with their afros, and highlighting the best and positive aspects of black music, unlike today with all the negativity of hip hop and rap, and the fake wanna be white artists, like Beyounce and Rhianna, with their bleached skins and blonde wigs.

I have watched this 3x's now and I'm in tears because I can remember watching all these episodes growing up. Let me rephrase my favorite line by Don C. " You can bet ya money because it's always gone be a stone gas honey." Don was the coolest brutha ever. His fro was perfect. Soul Train was the longest running television syndicate in history. Don, Thanks for bringing us Soul Train and opening the doors for so many black artists who otherwise wouldn't had a stage to perform on. The 70's had Soul!
