Jessica Cleaves like Phyllis Hyman...had very unique voices that you recognize because of the uniqueness. Jessica howeer, was more versatile and creative vocally. Never can get enough of Jessica. Another very Unsung (unappreciated stellar vocalist). My prayers are with you Jessica and hope you realize that your fanbase is still with you.

Jessica Cleaves has never gotten her due. Not just with just The Friends of Distinction and Earth, Wind & Fire, as well as some work with George Clinton but she did a fantastic vocal on one of my favorite jazz vibes player, Bobby Hutcherson's album Highway One. I wish she had tried doing a solo album.
