I totally support this. Although the police need to be better versed in laws that protect cyclists. When I got hit by a car the car turned right without merging into the bike lane first. We called the cops and the cops wanted to accuse me of being guilty although they didn't know what for, they just said I was at fault and didn't say why. The guy who hit me wanted me to pay for damages to his car and they agreed. Seems they just wanted to intimidate me as neither of us were ticketed.

Stop signs should be a yield sign for bikes! If you have to stop at every dam sign then whats the point of a bike? Imagine all those bikers in cars instead.

And the next car door that opens on me is getting a beat down.

The gal who says she thought the Stop signs were only yields for bikers? She proves that bicyclists should be licensed too, similar to cars. Bikes can damage and kill (Chris Bucchere in the Castro), especially when the rider has doesn't know or obey any rules.

Love it!!! My car was actually run into by a bicyclist who ran a red light. Damage to my car: dents and a broken windshield. Did I get paid for the damage? No. The dipshit hit and ran - seriously, who would have thunk, huh?!

Id feel safer to ride my bike in sf if they designate a few streets for bikes only like in other countries. A few streets going to ocean beach n a few going to the bay. Less cars, the better. But as of now, waaay too dangerous to bike.
