The Burgh Island Sea Tractor

This marvelous machine ferries passengers between Bigbury on Sea and Burgh Island at high tide. On very high tides the water comes right up to the floor!

I drove the sea tractor from the mid 80s into the nineties 7 years actually, thats when you had to drive it like a surf board takeing waves from the rear knocking you off your seat. Oh yes those were the days and my old mate Travis will have something to say about that who also is an x sea tractor driver. Men were men then. Denzol.

I remember as little kid the driver offered me a chance to steer, but I was too scared and said no. I really wish I had now.
