  • @queensplazasouth

I had one. It was a very well-built car.

  • @dalekrueger yeah he did!! chrylser had record sales back then with these cars that gm, ford, and the imports only had wet dreams selling as many vehicles!!! There was a identity crisis with them almost everything built was on the k car chassis but Iacocca made a point about " honda and toyota were doing the same thing sharing components and chassis platforms to save money that's what makes the imports profitable to this day and it worked for chrylser back then!!!

  • There bringing back the demon? And that'll be quite a feat, id like to see some concept sketchups of it

  • @Charger3091 compact car with a v8? call it a dart, Chrysler is designing the Dodge Demon, supposed to take on the Honda S2000 and obliterate the Mazda MX-5 Miata in the compact roadster convertable line.

  • Chrysler is certainly still here, but it's a shadow of the company it was when Iacocca brought back it from the brink and gave it a reason to exist, which is exemplified by a modest, yet highly effective slogan that was used back then: "the competition was good, we had to be better."

Sadly, you don't see this initiative and leadership from those now at the reigns of Chrysler.

You also don't see it at General Motors.

Only Alan Mulally at Ford seems to at least have some idea of what to do.

  • quality lol!

  • Theres about 50 Lancers/LeBaron GTSs on the road today.

  • Well 4 weeks later, CHRYSLER IS STILL HERE.

  • Chrysler is history.
