Mahesh Balasooriya with The Doug Webb Quartet

Mahesh has played with many jazz greats, including Christian McBride, Larry Goldings, Roy Hargrove, John Clayton, Eddie Daniels, Johnny Mandel, Randy Brecker, Eric Reed, Hubert Laws, and Patti Austin. He has been named "The Charlie Parker of Sri Lanka" by KJZZ jazz radio host Chuck Niles. Mahesh has opened for Elvin Jones, Quincy Jones, Ray Charles, and President Clinton, and has made several appearances at the Hollywood Bowl. YouTube features Mahesh Balasooriya performances.
The Concert Hall at the Ojai Valley Community Church was built as an audio/video recording studio. Last month's jazz performers compared it to the world famous Capitol A Studio at Capitol Records in Los Angeles.
