allow me to edcuate you on this matter becuase obviously you are clueless and have no clue about the military...The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) handles the care of Veterans; hence the name. Soldiers' mental health care is the duty of the Army, in this case the 10th Mtn Div., not the VA. And from your post, I gather that soldiers killing themselves is not a big issue in your opinion? Check out the article by the RAND corporation on mental health and the military from 4/08. Go to college
The Colonel addressed the situation and gave the morons in the video information to discuss whatever issues they have. A post/base commander has little to do with VA-related care. While he may be able to address military care on his own post/base, there is a much bigger issue that the commander will not be able to take care of.

While he may be able to address military care on his own post/base, there is a much bigger issue that the commander will not be able to take care of.
