11/11/11 Jason Webley, Amanda Palmer, Evelyn Sisters, Neil Gaiman at The Moore.

It was indeed the eleveniest day of my life. This video features Jason Webley and Amanda Palmer singing "Elephant", The Evelyn Sisters (Shook Twins) singing "You Only Want Me 'Cause You Want My Sister", and Neil Gaiman reading a poem about his stag night with Jason.

This was Webley's final concert for a good long while. If you were blessed enough to be in attendance like me, you know what a magical night that was. From the buskers outside and in the lobby to following those balloons all the way down to the water's edge where many of us bid farewell to a Seattle treasure.

it was an amazing night. I was very amused when the cops came to shoo us off that beach. Was I the only one who noticed that the one cloud in the sky made its way over the moon right as Jason reached the boat? It was all very poetic.

@vpittsley I didn't notice the cloud but I can see how fitting that would be. I wished that I had space on my camera to have filmed that but it's almost better as a personal memory, if that makes sense?

@deadpanhandler To be honest, I nearly did the same thing. But when I clicked on best available and row A popped up? I nabbed the single ticket that I needed because NONE of my friends would go with me. Fools!

@GermanCityGirl It's true, he made me feel better when he said he would have been there too, hahaha. And I wish I could have walked afterward, but my ride was already there waiting for me so I had to jet. You might've seen me hanging out a car window in the small parking lot across from the theater waiting for the horde of people passed by. I hear he jumped into the sound and sailed away??
