7.24.11, Sportsman Pattern Practice 62" Osiris, BARCS (Most Beautiful Field In the World - Threatened by Marsh Restoration). Pretty humbling to see up close and personal how often my wings aren't level, under-rotated 1/2 rolls, excess corrections, etc. A beautiful evening at a beautiful place having lots of fun!

I make these videos for the purpose of helping me understand what the plane is doing, as a practice aid, for Pattern competition.

Thanks for the suggestion! I've tried forward view but since you can't see the tail surfaces you don't get as much feel for what's happening with the airplane.

Very interesting view. It's pretty amazing how little the elevator seems to move. It would be interesting to see a forward facing view. Perhaps you could mount the camera on the wing so the prop isn't in the way?
