that was created for the lost
something so rare and beautiful
that only one man could pay the cost

It was formed out of love
that only one man could give
he chose to die for us
so that we could live

How do you describe the perfect gift
that has compassion and perfection
we didn't earn this wonderful gift
with our lies and deception

We were born sinners
with hate, greed, and envy
but this one chosen man
knew we could be set free

How do you describe the perfect gift
that allows us to be saved
only the chosen one could conquer
Death, Hell, and the Grave

Jesus won the victory
by paying the ultimate price
he was not only God's son
but he was our perfect sacrifice
