  • Thank you very much for making this video. We need to get as many of these stories as possible. Its very important to do so, as long as we can.

Is this a project for a class?

  • This is not a project for a class, just a family project. Over one week I interviewed him for a total of 17 hours on video (the actual video is much higher quality). Some day soon I will make a DVD for posterity. Thanks for watching.

  • ok good theres no dislikes because if you dislike this its saying you love war and disrespecting your country

  • My Grandfather never spoke of the war when he was alive. The only thing he ever said was that he was an island hopper. when He died an old friend of his showed up carrying a box. My grandmother opened it she fell to the ground crying it was all the medals that he was given. Then the stories came out from his friend. he spoke like my granddad was a true warrior. But my grandfather didn't want us to know who he was just who he is.

  • Great video / interview; from a personnal perspective

    Better than just reading.

    Thanks USA
