From the works of Living Enlightened Master Paramahamsa Nithyananda. In this clip taken from Patanjali Yoga Sutras discourse 11 (Sutra 14), Swamiji expounds on the word "Dirgakalah" that Patanjali uses to describe the practice of a technique for a long time. Swamiji says that Patanjali does not use this word to cheat us. In fact Patanjali knows the intricacies of the workings of the mind. Unless the mind knows and is convinced that the practtioner commits to doing a practice indefinitely, mind will continue to postpone and cheat. Swamiji sheds more light on this paradoxical truth giving example from the life of Buddha. After 12 years of penance it is only when Buddha decides that he will sit forever to attain enlightenment, he dropped into the present moment and got enlightened at that very moment. Swamiji then goes on to shed more light on this paradox by describing the concepts of chronological versus psychological times. • I went to stay with a wise man once.. I was told by him that one day I would find that one day I will realize that the room where all of my things are is full of things I no longer need. I did come to that realization and threw all of those things away. I was so attached to them that I realized god, as the sun beamed down upon me while walking on the beach soon afterward. It was such an overwhelming influx of power that I almost lost it. This is a rare example, but beware of kundalini's power.

  • Simply superb. Thank you so much Swamiji

  • I meant to say bliss, not bill

  • Taking Sanayas is never pointless. And just because you do not see yourself taking Sanayas during the 21st Century, does not mean others are not willing to open their being to bill and to the eternal consciousness

  • people of the world:

    BE CAREFUL OF PARAMAHAMSA NITHYANANDA!

THOUGH HE LOOKS INNOCENT, HE IS VERY DANGEROUS!

HE IS ONE OF THE MOST POWERFUL DEMONS, WHICH HAS INCARNATED IN THIS WORLD! If you have doubts: Pray to God! He will show you the truth! Please don`t watch this kind of stuff here! It will bring negative energy into your home, just by watching it!

Please take this serious! Be aware of Paramahansa Nithyananda!

  • budha walked out of his life and he became the greatest, try leaving your job becomeing budha during the 21st century is point less and taking things from his life is not that god for this world...

  • I heard that Buddha got enlightened when he dropped all the practice and just relaxed. Seems more accurate to me. Since he could for the first time relax.
