  • "its not a great idea to adjust yourself for free, come see a chiropractor like me, the biggest scam artists of all time"

  • Important point, @xcombine. Unfortunately, many chiropractors make decisions about care based on what's best for their financial bottom line, not what's best for the patient. We're doing something different. Our practice is built on core values of Health, Generosity, Community and Integrity. Our treatment plans are short and designed to get you out of our office and living your life quickly and affordably. We get great results, our patients love us, and we sleep well at night! Everybody wins!

  • @Magchiro I don't think the critic understands that there is enough pain to keep u in business without being a huxter. My Chiropractic experience has been fulfilling and has allowed me to kick addictive painkillers to the curb. Keep in the healing biz Doc. Hopefully you will continue to be rewarded.

  • @Puggalug When structures are out of balance, you must understand why and work towards correcting them. This may include relaxing the tonus of an overly tight muscle or it may mean tightening (shortening the resting length) of a muscle that is too lax. In the case of stretched ligaments, the treatments are limited with some evidence to show that sclerotherapy may help to tight these structures. You must understand why your spine may be out of alignment, and restore the natural balance of forces.

  • @Puggalug First you would need to understand why the metal rod is in the shape of an "I" when it is supposed to be in shape of a "C". This misshape most likely is from an imbalance of forces. In a neck it could be from incorrect tonus of opposing muscles. The muscles, with their resting lengths controlled by the nervous system, are constantly pulling on the bones. Correct tension along with correct ligament length keep the bones in alignment. cont'd

  • From there on it should just be preventive care. You may look at it this way too. For however long it took your spine to get the way it is... you should give your Dr. the same amount of time to get it back to where it should be.

  • @Puggalug Depends on the severity of you're condition and how long you've had it for. You might have a misalignment for many years and not know it. Your body may not take hold of the adjustment right away because it's use to being out of alignment. You want to keep getting adjusted so the spine will take hold of it's correct position. If that segment of misalignment is aligned on the next visit then it shouldn't be adjusted. You should then progress to more time between visits to the Chiro.
