@justinroseart I couldn't agree more. Well said. I moved to Seattle just before summer thinking it was going to help my career goals. After 3 months I turned tail back to Portland. With traffic and cost of living you were putting in 13 hour days to get paid for 8. No time to enjoy anything.

What I've discovered is that most, if not all, major cities are way over hyped and are never going to live up to the reputation of being that saviour for your personal happiness that it claims to be. Some are nice, most are just shit holes of congestion and stress out people trying make ends meet. But, it always good to get out and see the world. Travel and change is like medicine for your soul.
