MacArthur in Battle; London Nazi Bombing 1944/3/13

Rabaul is doomed, and the Philippines are endangered."

This was said during an interview with Donald Keyhoe, a Marine corp major who investigated phenomenon on military intelligence.

Don't forget MacArthurs' attitude towards the Aussie troops, they were the first to defeat the Japanese army at Kokoda and yet afterwards he sent them to their deaths in useless cleaning up operations. MacArthur is not a popular man in Australia.

The Americans didn't expect the Japs to attack Pearl Harbour because:

1. a blow there would be too hazardous for the Japs

2. Gen Marshall thought that Panama Canal was in greater danger than Hawaii
