@RonnyVain89 And what makes you think Jason Mraz is a corporate sell out? Is your assumption based simply on the fact that he makes money with his music? Have you ever seen him live? Have you ever paid attention to his words? Of all the big pop artists, Jason is one of the few I truly believe in. This guy puts more heart into this music than many so called "underground" artists.

I love the way Jason does it too. Much better than the original. He comes from love. He is an old soul. I love him!

Wow. What a way to neuter that song in a hurry!

Nobody suggested that it was about being angry and wearing this or that. Jason Mraz is a corporate sell out. And making music to make a corporation money is everything that punk, and even rock n' roll, is not.

No no no no, it's spossed to be punk.

Wow what a bunch of ignorant fucks, couldn't appreciate good music if it slapped you in the face. Mraz wrecked this shit!!! Major props

@KdogTheReelz Pretty amazing that one guy covering one song can ruin an entire genre of music....
To me, this is fucking more punk than all those close-minded fanatics trying to define some "punk rules" or whatever and stick to them at all costs. Punk's not dead, but punks are deaf. I listen to melodic hc and post-hc bands and I listen to Jason. Why? Because I believe in their message. Punk is not just a bunch of angry songs and "alternative" clothes, it's much more. It's a state of mind. It's being who you want to be. Jason obviously loves this song and that's more than enough for me.

I've been listening to the Ramones since I was eight, and I still and always love the Ramones, and honestly I actually like this cover. I'm not a big fan of Jason, but I really like how he played it in his style, and that's one thing awesome about covers. Who wants to hear a band cover a song that just sounds like the original? I feel what makes a cover is that when a band does it in there own style. Just like how the Ramones took 50's songs and gave it some juice and that punk rock energy.
