Samsung Galaxy Nexus 2G Volume Bug

Hi everyone,

I just thought I demo the bug from Samsung Nexus - It is not the end of the world! The fix is on its way and you can manually revert the volume back on. This is just to clarify the issues. Questions? Please shout!

in the u.s. there is no such thing as 2g anymore...just 3g and 4g :\

@t13c6 Hi, Of course there is 2G, Not all cells are 3G enabled, even in the US. ''4G'' Does not exist YET in the U.S - Sprint claim they have a 4G Network but infact its 3GPP WiMax network, LTE 3G EVO For verizon and AT&T. I am afraid this is the cause of big bad marketing. Therefore, when You see 'Edge' your actually on 2.8 RAN for UMTS network :)

I do have a problem that my 3G is not working , bought mine over Amazon.co.uk cannot enable it.

It IS the end if the world! Just kidding. How often do you set it to 2g? Will it last the whole day on 3g?

@mecampbell30 Hi - I have to say the battery life is not as great as I expected on 3G, but i only switch to 2G when i am running low on juice :-) It does last all day - all day being 8 hours with regular contact with the phone. It would be great if there was a software upgrade that automatically switches the phone to 2G when its at 25% battery life or around that, no doubt samsung will probably do this first!
