Students, faculty and administrators discussed campus problems at the Brownbag with the Presidents event held in the Bronco Student Center last Tuesday.

Organizations such as Students for Quality Education were on hand to express their worries to University President Michael Ortiz and ASI President Richard Liu.

  • I completely agree with mrcoilan. Finally, a student at Cal Poly Pomona who has brains!

  • Cuts should be across the board starting with Ortiz's salary. Truth is that Ortiz tried to sneak out to New Mexico state because he wanted to increase his pay from 292k to 385k and came back only after realizing he wasn't getting the job. He doesn't care about the future of Cal Poly. He just cares about himself. Wake up everyone and protest the program cuts!!!

  • Truth is Ortiz has been trying to stomp out academic diversity starting with his failed Prioritization and Recovery scheme. He even tried to get rid of the the College of Environmental Design, the crown jewel of the campus. His vision for Cal Poly is to be a technical institution like DeVry rather than compete with real universities like UCLA and USC.

  • if they cut the Engineering Technology program ill be pissed the hell off
