A classic from Quo from the early 70s. In My Chair marked Quo transition from Psychadelic pop to full Rock N Boogie.

  • I saw Quo at Liverpool Empire in the early 70s and they were brilliant. What the fuck is the matter with human beings that they feel the need to anaylise such simple fun like music.Go to a gig ,let yourself go and then go back to reallity and worry,if thats your wont, and carry on.

  • The classic line up indeed. Ffing brilliant.

  • classic, simple rock. you cant beat it

  • @spahnranch69 I'm sure you understand my comment was tongue in cheek, but nevertheless - no, I don't agree with you. I think Quo sweepes the floor with Alice Cooper, Jethro Tull and Edgar Winter. If you only had said Johnny Winter, then I'd agreeed with you. I can't really comment on David Bowie as he's an artist I haven't listened much to.

  • @ChoppaWhoppa1, I can't disagree with you when you say that Americans are stupid, ignorant fatsos. Status Quo is OK, but they were overshadowed by much bigger talent....Led Zeppelin, Alice Cooper, David Bowie, Jethro Tull, Edgar Winter, etc....You wouldn't deny that, surely?

  • @spahnranch69 Nah, Americans are just plain stupid. Oh, I forgot - ignorant fatto's too...

  • @Pighood, as a rock music fan from the USA I can understand why this band ever made it big over here. There's nothing about their music to get excited about. Even Grand Funk Railroad was better than these guys.

  • i was introduced to this song during the early 70s from the dustpipe lp by a good friend...rip TONY, B .

  • This is a great English/London stoner anthem from the early 70s - I loves it!! The Quo are a great band - I loves them!! As far as I'm concerned they're up there with the other great London bands like The Who, Sex Pistols etc..

  • 4 of em fell out the chair...........

  • pretty stoned boys !!!

  • wish QUO would do one more C.D. sounding more like THIS !!,back to really good sounding QUO went way to soft rock in the 80's onwards I.M.O.
