I got the Aiptek Pocketcinema V10 for christmas and i'm still satisfied with it. When i first got it i used it play movies and such, now i mostly let it display pictures in the cealining when i'm going to bed. It's quite comfy to have pictures of your friends in the cealing

Don't buy the Aiptek pocket cinema V10. I bought one and it stopped working after a day. I contacted customer service at Aiptek. Even though the unit was just purchased, they would not replace the unit, only repair. They said it would take two months to return the unit in working order. Video conversion doesn't work either! BEWARE!

Ok thanks- this is a very interesting product and I hope new improved models come out soon.
Thanks again.
Thank you for the response as well as taking the time to review this unit.
Do you think the still photo's are sharp enough to make a drawing from? Could someone project the image onto a paper and draw the image very well?
Thank you again.
~ What other pocket projectors are on the market? I like the fact this uses SD cards.

If the 640x480 resolution is enough for you, sure, it works as a drawing aid. I thought about something similar for projecting a "template" to a wall and paint logos etc. with it. Paper on the table would work just fine. - Aiptek's unit is the first stand-alone projector that you can buy from the store. There are models coming from several manufacturers very soon.

Overall did you like the V10?

Full review is in Metku but in short: not really. Too dimm to be truly useful.

Yes, that would have been even better comparison. I only had a limited access to the unit so this was the best that I was able to do with it. I just wanted to include this to the video as it does give you at least some degree of sense what the difference is like. Anyways, point taken and I thank you for it.
