  • 1:00 haha

  • astounding.

it's really nice to hear him talk as well in the middle of the video.

  • I am so glad that the performance was captured so well with all he nuances and careful thinking that went into its preparation preserved for players to study and learn from, The Loud and soft, hushed and brilliant, rubato taken and following rhythms compensating. This a true artist not playing by rote but by imagination and re-creating what was in the composer's mind as best he can surmise. There more to say but now it too late.

  • La fameuse interprétation où il a merveilleusement joué cette étude de Scriabine qui jusqu'à aujourdh'ui me dépasse toujours!

Incroyable Horowitz, et quand je passe qu'il frôlait déjà la centaine!!!!!!!!

This is the famous interpretation where he masterised the dreadful Scriabin's Etud Op.8/12.

  • @TheCornguy His handkerchief.

  • In much the same way Price Charles wanted to be Mrs Parker Bowles tampax, I want to be that handkerchief!

  • This is wonderful to have the whole concert with one presumes gone BBC sound. It's fascinating to be able to compare his performances over time.

  • BRAVO!

  • Inspirational! Why wasn't I there :(
