Its not fake, its a dual resonant solid state tesla coil, switched by IGBTs and the interupter is being modulated to the tones. Your mums a fake

This is not an offline tesla coil. It does have a tank capacitor but it is a drsstc. The tank cap is in SERIES with the igbt and primary... Promise :P

this type of tesla is called an offline tesla coil and its switched with igbt, (isolated gate bipolar transistors)
