is it a synagogue in Iceland? Is it any jews at all in Iceland

@MiiniiDevel -There are about 100 Jews in Iceland and only in 2011 did a Chabad Rabbi go to Iceland to try revive the dying Jewish community. There is no synagogue. However, the wife of the current leader of Iceland is Israeli born and is Jewish. There are many Jews who travel and visit Iceland but not many live in the country. In the 1930s Iceland offered to pay for all the Jews to be sent to Germany but only if the Danes would not help them once they were expelled. Not real Jewish friendly

This is my experience with jews..

The funny thing about most jews that thay do not know how to argue with other people.

And when they know they are losing, they just call you names like nazi, narcissistic or anti semitic and make stuff opp.Calling people names is not really an argument, but maby it makes them feel better.Some jews always have something negative to say about Iceland and say something like "icelanders should be more multicultural" I say why?

There is no synagogue in Iceland and all the jews in Iceland are about 45 (icelandic-census January 2011)

All of them came after 1944 with the american occupation of Iceland.

@TheAryanHand -To answer your PS, I don't think Jews do need a community anywhere. I think if Jews move there they should be welcome if they abide by Icelandic laws and traditions. However, I don't see a need to set out to establish a community there for any reason.

Also, you know your history better than I do but I am of the impression that the first Jews to Iceland came in the 18th century and a few more followed in the 19th century but there was never a strong Jewish presence.

They lost land and we have returned some of it. Do you know another country that returns land won in a war for the sake of peace? @TheAryanHand -Well just as I don't know about your country (I assume you are Icelandic), you don't know about mine. We are not killing the "Palestinians". Actually "palestinians" live in very large cities. They don't live in camps in tents or something along those lines as much as the world likes to think they do. "Palestinians" are treated free of charge in Israeli hospitals for everything from cancer to birth defects. What is the problem is that Hamas has in their charter that...

@TheAryanHand -You do not have to be Jewish friendly. I was simply making an observation. I have nothing positive or negative to say about Iceland. I had an aide from Iceland and I really liked him. That is about all I know of Iceland. I have never been there and have no plans to go. As far as I know the kosher tour groups that travel through there are treated well but they are only there for a few days or a week or so.
