2005 Lincoln East Boys Soccer Highlights

The Lincoln East Spartans Boys Soccer team set numerous records in the Mid 90's Most notably, they were the first Lincoln, Nebraska team to win a Class A state title. They won in both 96 and 97. The teams were coached by Head Coach Jim Amos and Asst. Head Coach Jeff Hoham. In 2002, Hoham took over the program and began another great run with 3 state titles, and two runner up finishes. Lincoln East is the most successful boys soccer program in Class A Nebraska history. The Spartans have won state titles in 96,97, 2002,2005 and 2006. They were finalists in 2003 and 2007. From 96-2009 they have won over 250 games, while losing only 41.
