Wild ARMs 4 Raquel solo - Black Box

This is a segment from my Raquel solo run. The rules are as follows:

-Characters other than Raquel can only Guard.
-Characters other than Raquel must be under level 10 (this is done by equipping the Monopoly Gourd on Raquel).
-Characters other than Raquel must use their initial equipment. No Alter Parts may be used for Jude's ARM.
-No items that can be only gotten through New Game+ carry overs can be used.

This is done on New Game+ only to have access to the Monopoly Gourd to keep other characters' levels in check. Nothing carried over from the previous playthrough will be used.

Optional superboss time! For most of these I won't be using Equites. Why? Because Equites is broken and Raquel doesn't need to be any more broken than she already is. Besides, it's more fun this way.

This is the Black Box, a treasure chest found on Desolate Railway. It can only be opened after all other treasure chests in the game have been opened. I actually missed one (as usual) so I had to go combing the world for that last box. It wasn't fun, that's for sure.

And neither is this battle. Black Box hits hard and fast. Its money skills are Agony Effect and Magic Hand. Agony Effect is a high damage non-elemental magic attack. Magic Hand is a high damage physical attack. Yay for variety or something. On top of that, it has Hyper, which doubles physical damage, meaning Magic Hand can do well over 5000 damage. Ouch.

After quite a few trials, I figured out a good strategy. Black Box has a weakness to fire, so take over the fire hex and spam Dragon Edge at him, hoping to kill it before he kills Raquel. On this successful run, he actually cast Hyper on the fire hex and moved off of it. That pretty much sealed the deal.

Setup:
Level 88
Morrigan Brand - 1050 ATP, 3 ACN, -10 HIT, increases probability of skill activation
Cromwell - 590 DFP, 470 MGR, +20 EVA
Laurel Crown - Doubles healing.
Goat Doll - One time revival to 1 HP.
Punching Glove - Randomly changes a critical attack to Finest Arts (25% chance normally).

dude it may look it kinda sucks at first, but when you look at long-term, you'll see that when you collect ALL the hidden Alter Parts, it unlocks a special mode in the EX + Files... ;)

Seriously, Raquel's power + Hyper Hex +Dragon Edge (Fire)....

THAT was a huge combo for maximum dmg. One of the coolest battle you have ever record for Wild Arms 4 ^
