  • the reason gay marraige is not legal is simply because those who oppose it are homophobic.

  • @WerewolfOfTheWater smarter too, but the bar wasn't set very high.

  • @ubermisogynist You might think same sex marriage is strange, but frankly, marriage (whether opposite or same sex) is a civil right and in the United States we don't deny rights to people simply because they "piss us off." Gays don't want to force anything on people. They simply want and deserve equality.

  • @chickenbuttguesswhat I think all those realtionship types are strange, but if we are going to allow gay marriage then those should be also. To me its the only fair thing to do. To be frank I would support those other alternative marriages before gay marriage simply because those people don't piss me off. Gays think they have some right to force people to accept or believe in their marriage and sexuality.. They can do what they want but if one challenges me I won't lie about my opinion of them

  • @chickenbuttguesswhat one of the bro/sister couples I mentioned in the documentary had several kids with no defects. In the case of the incest stories they weren't raised together and met as adults. They also made an argument that non-related couples can have defective children, so should the state screen everyone before they are allowed to have kids. As for polygamy same-thing..it's their lives and polygamy is common is muslim and other cultures. Like I said..

  • @chickenbuttguesswhat i stand by what i said. It may seem strange but they do have bro/sis couples(BBC did 2 documentaries on it) and in most states it's illegal to marry 1st cousin. I don't agree with it personally but it doesn't affect me anymore than gay marriage. People use the defects argument but that implies all couples want children and they can't take measure to prevent that(adoption) also it's a statistical risk it's not a guarantee(Queen Elizabeth is married to her cousin) and ..

  • @ubermisogynist Why does incest and polygamy have to be recognized if same sex marriage is recognized? I don't understand this slippery slope argument. Why do people think that if same-sex marriage is recognized, people are going to start going crazy, marrying multiple people, relatives, dogs, horses, etc. That hasn't happened with straight marriage, why would it happen with same sex marriage?

  • @WerewolfOfTheWater and a lot smarter :)

  • No state should forced be recognized gay marriage..if we are going to have "marriage equality" then adult incest marriages and polygamy should be recognized..if not then no one should be obligated to recognize gay marriage

  • @aqilahraeesha Such an old, lame argument. God made Adam, Eve AND Steve. Follow the WHOLE Bible if you expect others to.
