  • I am so thankful for this song...my mom and i sang this at my fathers funeral, there hasn't been another song released like this one...It makes me smile and cry at the same time this is true love and beauty :)

  • I wanna live to be 102... so I can listen to this song daily. As Colin says... "we all get over people, places and things, but not during MY fuck'n song."

  • I had the PRIVELIDGE OF SEEING HIM LIVE IN A LITTLE CLUB IN SYDNEY last week, he played this and many more, and talked of his life. This song reminds me of a girl i lost. I was overwhelming to be there live, not 10 feet from him, and watch him play this, AMAZING EXPERIENCE, GO IF HE EVER COMES TO YOUR TOWN

  • SUPURB!

  • @blackadder3 maybe the song rang a little too true for two people to take

  • 2 people work for music companies that don't promote real music...

  • @jrontet could also be DGCFCC. not quite sure ;)

  • @jrontet it's DADGAD. simple, yet beautiful magic :)

  • This man Colin Hay appears to get no air time on UK radio and he writes the songs that make you think, laugh and cry. On YOU GO SHOUTING AND BAWLING fea the good people of Glasga

  • anyone know what tuning this is in?

  • @Janicemaxwell I know what you mean. I tear up every time I listen to this. I would've loved to be there.

  • @mz9393mz Why thank you very much for agreeing with me. You know I would have LOVED to be there and watch him in person. It's not too often that a song or performer can reach inside you and stir your soul. You know, when you literally get goose bumps all over or the hair stand up on the back of your neck. When this happenes you're watching greatness and these people seemed like they could care less if they were there or not. What a shame.Take care ;)
