DeForest Kelley in the 1959 TV episode "Apache Trail". Rather bad-ass role! And he gets tied up and whipped before being shot by accident in a struggle ;)

  • Everytime I see it I have to think of "Winnetou and Shatterhand in the Valley of Death". They had a cool whipping scene in the movie. I`m sure you remember it. ;)

  • Barely, but I get the idea *G*

  • The apaches should have stripped the man to the waist before bullwhipping him. Nice clean sound to that bullwhip hitting him, the apache has used that whip before!!!

  • Your comment made me checkout all those whipping vids out there - nice! *G*

  • I believe this is the scene Rioux talks about in "From Sawdust to Stardust", where De was tied and whipped for a scene. But the guy using the whip misjudged the distance, and actually whipped De. However, De didn't call the scene, just grit his teeth through it. He didn't think he'd been that badly hurt until he sat down, and left blood on the back of his chair.

  • i am so used to seeing him as dr mccoy that this seems so strange to me, but it is a good scene also with the man who played nick barkley, sadly i can't remember his name

  • 7:33 is a nice side profile of De.

  • I love the sound of a whip on naked man-flesh

  • 20 azotes
