@TheBurlybrad I often run mine for 3-4 hrs at a time with slight standby between clips. Never had a overheating problem. My previous A33 overheated all the time..

I worked a lot with canon 5D, 7D, 600D, 550D, 60D, nikon D7000,5000,3000, sony a200 and A65. A65 but sony is the best

Anyone can read off a sheet a paper as well and base their rationale solely over specs, basing opinion from actual camera use and test would make this vid legit, otherwise this vid is useless

I think you made an mistake in the video.

Lenses are not cheaper without Image Stabilisation, the opposite.

For example the Sigma 18-250 or Tamron 18-270

For Canon or Nikon, the identical lense, cost less than for Sony.

For sony they dont have IS, on Canon and Nikon they Have.

So you pay more for getting no image stabilisation in the lense, not less.

Or at least i dont seen any lense which is cheaper on Sony than on Canon, so i think its a myth.

A bit futile to try to determine a winner solely based on specs but obviously the dude has plenty of experience around cameras and knows a lot. Would have liked to seen real world samples. From a price point, T3i (600D) and A65 are in different league and A65 is at least $300 more.

@joshuad2d - I am not supporting the OP here but I would like to let you know that due to the sony being an SLT it's FPS is not MEH you would get 10 images all in focus and sharp I know i've tried.

first, wrong class: price wise, the A65 is more like a 60D and not a T3i. then you'd have a better price-point comparison. also, sony cameras still use archaic lens tech, whereas canon is quite forward-thinking and really you're buying into a long-term SYSTEM which includes LENSES, not just a body. REALLY short-sighted to buy a system based only on one particular generation of camera body. ever heard of digital rot? both bodies will be obsolete in 2 years....

I am a Sony fan but in this case D600 has a lot better display cause you can turn it all the way round and Sony makes something that is hardly useful.

Missing some Points.. first.. the Display.. Much better on the T3i (600D) .. then The FullHD Zoom in Video. Even in A65? Dosnt know but T3i have it. And AF in Video? ... only in Full Automatic on the A65.. so what. Better in Noise.. the T3i... Cheaper..T3i (in Germany about ~50% of the A65). More Progressiv FPS in Video..the A65. Oh and the A65 Changes Crop from 1.5 tu 1.8 in Video.. Stupid finally...if same Price maybe A65. But so... i think T3i

u have to try and shoot videos and snap photos to judge
