@EnfantdAlgerie Don't worry about trolls, man. Software is great for some stuff, but not all plugins are good. A good pair of ears and a creative and clever brain between them are far more valuable than a fancy compressor. You can use that money more wisely to hire a good mix engineer out of a well-equipped studio. Even the best mixer can't make a bad mic sound good once a vocal or instrument has already been recorded, or make you a better singer or songwriter. Best of luck...

@OhYeah729 I think you need to take a break from GS, man. Sometimes plug-ins are close enough, sometimes not. Michael Brauer uses plugins, ffs, they ARE the "real tools of the trade". If it sounds good, it IS good. If you can't hire the London Phil to do strings, you get a Mellotron, right? Good luck with that "go hardware or go home" attitude, though. I'll start scoping Craigslist/Ebay for your "Studio Liquidation" post... XP I've "built" my setup thanks to "characters" like you.

@lydkraft got it...thanks.

@EnfantdAlgerie Yes I would... it builds character. Pro Tools? and Tube Tech? LOL. Analog Mate. Don't you hate how everyone jumps strait to the plug-in questions. This is a hardware video man, appreciate the real tools of the trade.

@OhYeah729 Why would you do that....Would you like it if you were a beginner in a certain aspect of some sort, and got laughed at too? Nice.....
