  • Not bad - but it's an upbeat march, not a funeral dirge.

  • @QMPhilosophe The tempo here is quarter note = 116, hardly a funeral dirge. Afterall, it's a march. You could march to this tempo, right? Anything too fast and Mozart would have called it the Turkish Run. Marches are all too often taken too fast just because they can.
