Mud. Nite On The Tiles (1976)

Nite On The Tiles was released in September 1976 as the first single off the album It's Better Than Working.

One of my favourite Mud songs , this Stiles/Davis song shows how versatile Mud were as a band.

Yes, it was the follow up to Shake It Down but failed to chart. Mud only had one other hit after this, a cover of Lean On me.

@PAKEPELS definitely! The sound of sweet when they started to write their own stuff-fever of love, stairway to the stars. love is like oxygen etc. its the rockier feel, the backing vocals are very similar..
