The Obama administration denies he ever said this. And it was removed from the bill when the right started complaining.
Maddow is a liar like Obama.

Yeah he said that and Rachel isn't denying he said it. Obama was actually arguing against' Defensive Medine" that had no legitimate benefit. Some surgeries really *aren't* necessary and really won't help. That is the same basic thing that Newt Gingrich said when he called for more use of "Advance Directives" for End of Life Care. He argued in July that it would save $Billions in the Washington Post. So which is it, will it save money or not, I thought you guys were against wasteful spending?

The far right was trying to make a point when someone coined the term "death panels".
Here is what Obama actually said at a town hall event Wednesday June 24, 2009:
One way to shave medical costs is to stop expensive and ultimately futile procedures performed on people who are about to die and don't stand to gain from the extra care.
He added: "Maybe you're better off not having the surgery, but taking the painkiller."

So if I understand this Maddow guy correctly, anyone who publicly opposes Government take-over of health care is somehow related to a Right-Wing conspiracy of the rich, pharma cooperative. Any organization that consists of anything but left-wing fascist loons is bad for me, and government is my only chance of survival in this life. Boy, for being so against conspiracy theorists and fear mongers, this Maddow guy seems to have made a pretty good living by using his own scare tactics!!

Uh, you might try watching the video again and actually listening this time instead of thinking of hilarious and witty ways to take jabs at Maddow's sexuality. She lays things out pretty simply. The only way you could take facts and turn them into "wild conspiracy theory" is if you were simply not paying attention, or if you are a shameless liar with an allergy toward critical thought. Your screen name seems to point to the latter.

Maddow is so frikin' stupid that she can't understand the difference between being "partisan" and being "conservative"

That dumb bitch needs to go back to elementary school and take a grammar lesson if she actually believes the feces she reading off that teleprompter.

A graduate of Castro Valley High School in Castro Valley, California, Maddow later obtained a degree in public policy from Stanford University in 1994. She then received a Rhodes Scholarship in 1995 and used it to obtain a doctorate in politics from Lincoln College, Oxford University.
Yes, I know your job is to now say that "education doesn't mean anything," but your entire original post was about Maddow's lack of intelligence and education, and I'm showing how stupid you are. Which is easy.

That scenario simply doesn't apply in this case because there are 3 House Bills and 2 Senate bills already in play. There are no cuts to Medicare service in any of them, although there are plans to save on spending while delivering the same or better care. Obama has said from DAY ONE that he would repeal the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy which will give us back the budget surplus of the 90's, that's how this will be paid for.

There is 600 billion dollars in cuts to both Medicare and Medicaid being proposed. There is no way to get this kind of savings without shorting the providers which is why we are in the mess we are now.
