it used to be available on the brother website, you'll need to provide the serial number from the bottom of the printer however.

Hello, my questione si, by modding the QL are you able to use or mount dymo labels or dymo labels clones? On eBay and on the NET i realized that for dymo you can find non official and then cheaper labels, while si not the same for brother. Anyway good job and thanks for sharing.

At first I wondered why in the world anyone would want to do this. What the video author doesn't state is that Brother doesn't provide inexpensive thermal paper (non-sticky) for their label printers. There's a roll of continuous label paper without adhesive (DK-N5224) but this is expensive and likely too thick for receipts or the like. This is a great hack if you want to use the label printer as a receipt printer and want to be able to purchase inexpensive bulk paper for that purpose.
