The info about the the Beach Boys song is WRONG. The instrument was a Tannerin (or Electro-theremin) that isn't a theremin.
You can find it out in wikipedia looking for electro theremin.

Your dynamic range and and pitches show great potential. I would however suggest you work on the vibrato! : ) Great video!
