6 hard boiled eggs
1/4 cup mayonnaise
3/4 tsp mustard

1. With 6 eggs brought up to room temperature add them to a small pot of cold water, covering the eggs by about 2 inches of water.

Keep the water at a simmer. Cook the eggs for 7-9 minutes. Once they are done, run the cooked eggs under cold water.

2. Cut the eggs in half lengthwise and remove the yolks and place them in a bowl.

6. Refill the whites using about a tablespoon of the yolk mixture for each egg half.

  • Experiment with yogurt, sour cream, whipped cream or soy mayo. A little mustard will add flavor and smoothness as well.

  • I made deviled eggs with: Eggyolks, eggwhite "cups", black pepper, mayonaise ( half fat), and a little seasalt ( finely granulated) just now, and I said to my dad: Hey, try them!!

And he tried one, afterwards he said: Hey, I erh... didn't get to taste it... can I try another one, you know, to make sure... :p and that all because I saw this video clip and begged my mother to let me make it :D!

  • @StupidRainbow101 Haha, there's always a good excuse for keeping away from study, but I never heard the deviled eggs-excuse before. haha

  • My dad used to use french onion sour cream dip in his deviled eggs. So I make them that way every year at Christmas for the family :) Kinda just replace the dip, with some of the mayo you would have used.

  • What if you don't have lemon juice?!
