"Walking on a Dream" by Empire of the Sun mixed with The Potbelleez songs "Don't Hold Back "and "Are You With Me", plus a fair bit of Deadmau5 "Ghosts N Stuff" to drive it along. Assorted drums synths and basses from Electro House dance library. Additional non standard effects used include WoW and Effectrix by Sugar Bytes

  • Is all the footage live? (lots of cameras?)

  • @IglooDweller Hey Man! It's been a while :) I only have the one camera, so I did one pass through with it behind me (the wide shot) while I captured the audio at the same time, then I did 2 or 3 more pick up passes playing it through again without recording audio in order to get the other angles.

  • @stephencgregory Good job! It's just as interesting to watch as it is to listen to. :) It's good quality-- what kind of camera do you have? and what program do you use to edit?

  • @IglooDweller It's shot with a Canon 7D. I used a 17-55mm 2.8 for the wide shot, 50mm 1.8 for the side shot, and a 60mm 2.8 macro for the screen shots. Due to render time I didn't end up colour correcting it or doing anything than just cutting the footage up. The strobing of the lights is due to the fact that I selected the wrong shutter speed! It's edited in Final Cut and compressed using Stomp.

  • ..read about this on the internet somewhere.

    first,great choice of songs

and this is a great mash up, its chill with some of the synth but the steady beat is very nice

@3:16 vocals are very nice, this is a great part and the transition that follows at @3:31 real smooth as well.

I really feel the vibe that starts @6:00mins - 6:25 ish probably my favorite part.

  • @32445k Wow thanks very much for the review. Really appreciate that, sometimes it's hard to know exactly what it is people like and why, so that's a huge help. Cheers.
