I think there is a direct four d analoge to a cubeoctahedron, (which is sphere like). A hexagon has three diagonals. These can be considered instead 3 hexagons. These are ofset in three dee and forn the "diagonals" the skellitol infrastructure of the cubeoctahedron, and define the edges, vertexes and sides. Next, the cubeoctahedrons four internal hexagons can be considered cuboctahedrons making 5 in all. Offset in four dee this makes the infrastucture of the analoge in 4 D.
