New Revolving Age (NRA) is a Ngee Ann Polytechnic dance club founded on 19 June 2000. It began with only eight members. Since then, NRA has grown significantly with more than 200 members today. NRA members train and perform in different styles of dance such as Old School Hip Hop, New School Hip Hop, Jazz Funk, Popping, Locking, Break Dance and Lyrical Jazz under the guidance of local and foreign choreographers. NRA have won numerous national and international competitions, received multiple awards and accolades and performed in countless events in Singapore and Overseas.
The Carnival Act 2011, is an extraordinary dance production put together by the brightest talents in NRA. It is conceptualized and choreographed by the NRA crew, a dedicated team of NRA Alumni, who is inspired by a common passion for dance and a mission to contribute back to the community.
