Question: Senator Obama is quoted in the Hill Today as telling Members of the Congressional Black Caucus that "John McCain if he's elected is going to pick a supreme court that is going to rollback every gain that women have made in the last 50 years." What's your response?
McCain: You know I respect Senator Obama and I admire his success and I will conduct a respectful campaign. That kind of statement and allegation is not worthy of Senator Obama, nor worthy of the debate of the American people want and deserve. I again reiterate my request to join in townhall meetings. If Senator Obama wants to make a statement like that and we're both on stage or before a group of Americans than I would be glad to respond to it. I think my record speaks clearly for itself.

Yes, his record DOES speak clearly for itself:

He voted no for equal pay for women

he voted no for insurance companies to cover birth control even when they cover Viagra!

He has made clear that he believes Roe V Wade should be overturned!!

And, Personally he has made jokes about "women enjoying rape" and has called his own wife a "cunt" in public. The second wife that is; The first he cheated on, and then divorced her after she had a disfiguring accident and Married Cindy 1 month later.

So, why do women deserve more rights than men? "Equal Pay?" Women already get paid more by the position/hour than men, as well as hiring favoritism, and promotional favoritism, as well as the standards lowered in any field where they would have trouble. Wow, thats quite a blanket statement. First of all, just because a president nominates someone doesn't mean that they are going to vote every case the way he wants them to. When a justice is confirmed, they become completely autonomous from the other branches of government. Second, I think that McCain reacted the way I would! Its not that he "can't" answer... How would you feel if someone told you some crap someone else told them about you? Basically, he said "Say it to my face."
