  • Prairie chickens are in the grouse family

  • too much trying to coach the dogs and NO kill shots... lame

  • How great! I first went to Halsey in Sept, 1967 as a young guy teaching at the U. of N in Lincoln. I had my first dog, a Brittany named Skip, and a borrowed Browning O/U. The place got in my blood! Always warm but Thank God! for the windmills and the stock tanks. My dog used to jump right in the tank and swim. We camped out along the Dismal River on more than one occasion. This really brought back the flood of nostalgia. You guys did very well too. We never got that many. I left in '74

  • this is pritty cool
